Good to know
How often should I schedule sessions?
Every two to three weeks is a good pace for ongoing sessions, though they can be spaced more or less often depending on your goals and budget. Scheduling more often than once a week, or less often than once a month, is not recommended.
What if I have to cancel an appointment?
Please give 24 hours’ notice when canceling a Rolfing® session to avoid being charged for the session.
Will my insurance cover Rolfing®?
Some insurance plans cover Rolfing® as massage therapy, and others as Rolfing® or Structural Integration. Matthews Somatics does not file insurance claims, but we are happy to provide treatment codes so you can submit claims for reimbursement.
Insurance companies typically require a diagnosis from a physician before treatment. Many clients pay for Rolfing® from flexible healthcare spending accounts, which may also require a referral from your physician.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes! Gift certificates are available in many denominations, attractively packaged and perfect for birthdays, holidays, and more. Call or email Toby to arrange one.
